The Cathtip Nexus combines power and convenience for high-performance, dedicated production. With 1.2kW of power, this compact, desktop-sized catheter tipping machine is optimized for simple tipping, bonding, and flaring processes that don’t require extensive recipe control. Featuring our next-gen tooling cartridge, the Nexus allows for toolless changeovers, precise closed-loop PID heat control, and air-regulated motion.
Designed with user safety and efficiency in mind, the Nexus includes a safety cover, machine-controlled lock and release, and a 5” capacitive touchscreen interface. Its semi-automatic platform, with ergonomic right-handed part loading and hand tie-down start buttons, ensures an intuitive, seamless production workflow.
The Nexus does not require a water chiller, saving both valuable space and reducing costs, making it ideal for applications that don’t demand the high process capabilities provided by water cooling. While complex applications that require water cooling, servo-driven motion, and ultimate recipe control flexibility should be reserved for the premier Cathtip Magnum Tipper, the Cathtip Nexus is optimized as the best cost-effective, space-saving solution for any dedicated simple tipping processes, making it the perfect choice for high-performance and high-throughput production.
